R1 - Locations

Fayflower University! The tablet that you've been given includes a thorough map of the campus grounds-- although there are key indicators that there are things they're not showing you just yet. But everything that you can access for the time being is accurately depicted in a series of maps, including basic descriptions of the amenities. The Administration wants all of it's students to be familiar with the school grounds.

The school was designed with blue and silver as its key colors. The structure is sleek and modern, as updated as the technology that runs it. The result is a classy look that says a lot of time and money was put into its development.

- MAIN BUILDING -

Entrance - From the Entrance, you can come and go between the school building and the dormitory or any of the outdoor facilities. There are small lockers for your shoes and other items. But they are not assigned, nor do they have locks on them so be careful what you leave unattended.

Classroom - A large room with thirty wooden desks. There is a large chalkboard as well as a projector screen for lessons. In the closet there are traditional supplies such as chalk, paper, text books and pencils. The text books, however, look like they've seen better days and could use updating. You probably won't be learning from these things.

Cafeteria - The place where you will get most of your meals. The staff provides breakfast, lunch and dinner for the students at scheduled times. If you're late, you might miss out.  The kitchen is locked from 10pm-8am, 10am-1pm, and 4pm-7pm.  All other times, however, you have access to the prep area and storage areas EXCEPT for food storage.  You may also take kitchen utensils and use them in the kitchenette located in your dormitories if you'd like!

Courtyard/Garden - A beautiful, lush garden with a small gazebo in the center. There are flowers of all kinds-- certainly some you may recognize and others you might not at least. There's also a small pond. Frogs, butterflies and a number of other living creatures make their home here.

Gymnasium - Just the place you'd want to go to get in some indoors exercising. The closet here is full of sports equipment appropriate for indoor playing. It doesn't have all the stuff the storage room outside has to offer, but there are a variety of different balls to play with and a volleyball net.

Locker Rooms - Along with your traditional school uniform, you got one for gym activity too. So before you get sweating, you can get changed in the locker rooms. Each of the lockers also has some useful items for the students including hair ties and deodorant.

Showers - Wash off all the sweat and grime after your healthy exercise. There's plenty of shampoo, conditioner and soap. The towels are restocked daily.

Faculty Office - The plaque on the door says "Administration. Should you need to discuss something with the people running the program, this is most likely the place you'll find them. The interior is a very high class office; designed in the school's natural colors of blue and silver. There's a bookcase and a desk-- both a deep black color. There are books and files but it's clean. Impeccably so. No sign of nearly any of the things cluttering it during the Entrance Exam... Oswald and Han's photos hang on the wall. The others have been removed...

Student Supplies and Closet - Should you need anything to assist you with your school work, there is a room full of supplies. Nearly anything you could think about asking for. Everything from traditional school items to art supplies to math tools to non-perishable food items for your dorm room-- for those days when you gotta cram for a bad exam.

Nurse's Office - Well there doesn't seem to be a nurse on duty, but there are certainly all the supplies you'd expect in her office here! Bandages, basic medicines, first aid supplies... anything stronger than that though... well. It might be here. But chances are if it is, it's in one of the locked cabinets.

Bathrooms - No school is complete without them.

Stairs - There appears to be access via a stairwell to a second floor. However, at the moment, there appears to be a gate down over it. You can bang on it all  you'd like, it won't budge. If you could just find the key then maybe... but it's likely in the possession of one of the staff members. No one would just leave something like that lying around.

After the first exam, the stairs in the corner of the University were unlocked and just up there...

Elevator - Starting on the second floor, it appears that you can use the elevator! It's a large glass elevator that sits in the center of the building. But unfortunately right now, it doesn't look like you can use it.

Biology Lab - Compared to everything else on this floor this room is... ah. Well there are specimen of all types in here; from frogs to dissect to owl pellets you can pick apart to reassemble rat skeletons! There are also some less savory parts in jars, but-- mmm. Maybe best not to dig too much.

Music Room - The stage, the instruments, the lights...!! This is a performer's dream. We've got everything from triangles to tubas. Make your own bad or rock out alone-- whatever you need to live your musical dreams, it's all right here. Put on a performance for your friends... or that special someone... and it'll be a day to remember. There's also a library of sheet music in the back if you don't do the improvising thing.

Art Room - The supplies on the first floor are nothing compared to the ones in here. Large tables give you room for all kinds of art projects. There are oils, acrylics, inks-- you name it! And there's papers of all kinds, shapes and colors. There are even some more unique supplies such as modeling and pottery clay and small metalworking tools for the extra creative among you who are just tired of regular old paper.

Computer Lab - A large room with 18 computers-- it's not enough for all of you to get on at once, but hopefully that won't be a problem. The hardware here is top notch: touchscreen monitors and quality software. You can't browse the world wide web, but there's a closed network that at least connects the computers in the building! You can play minesweeper against your fellow Apprentices at last.

Library - It's the rumored library you saw! And it's a big one. With half of the space dedicated to comfortable tables and the other half dedicated to rows and rows of books of all kinds from history to steamy, steamy romance, the bookworms among you will feel right at home here.

Home Economics - Well you could cook before, but now you can cook AND sew. There are recipes stocked here as well as patterns. Wanna get out of those uniforms but don't have anything else? Well maybe now's the time to learn how to make something new. You've got all the things you need to do both-- a wide selection of fabrics and threads as well as a whole cupboard full of ingredients. Go wild.

After the second exam, the third floor elevator button becomes available. And what you will find there...

Audio/Visual Production Studio - It's like a film set and a musician's studio all rolled into one! One half is dedicated to cameras, props and lighting and the other has soundproof rooms and professional music equipment. With these, you could seriously make your own masterpiece.

Robotics Laboratory - On the door, there's a placard: Vivienne Gallivan. While it's probably very exciting to see, upon first being discovered the door is locked. But you can already see just from the door that there are all kinds of sensitive looking tools in there and high-tech machinery. But as of Week 4, Monday night there is a new, high tech lock on the door. It doesn't seem you'll be able to open it by normal means. As of Week 5, Tuesday morning the lock is disabled and it can be entered again. Granted-- you'll almost always find Vivienne there. But she'll share the space with any who come looking.

After the third exam, you gain access to the fourth floor via the elevator. And what you'll find there

Workshop - Ah. The smell of wood in the morning. There's a lot of that here. Also sharp objects for cutting wood down to size! Wood glue, clamps, screws and nails... you have all the tools you need to make some real wooden works.

Exotic Performing Arts - At last. A day at the circus. Master juggling, acrobatics, the flying trapeze, knife throwing, become a human cannonball... all the tools are here for you to learn a number of new and exciting skills. Then you, too, can run away and join the circus.

Greenhouse - In here, you'll find all kinds of herbs and flowers-- some you may recognize! Others you've likely never seen before. It would seem that in their look for a cure, they've tried cultivating plants of all kinds from many different worlds. Be careful what you put in your mouth if you don't know what it is.. you never know what the result might be...

Dance Studio - Ballet, disco... or something slower and more sensual... the dance studio has settings to prepare for a fun day of dancing! There are also fitting outfits in the closet, to get you dressed up for the part.

After the Midterm, you gain access to the fourth floor via the elevator. And what you'll find there...

Ice Rink - Grab some ice skates and let's go! There's a large ice skating rink here. Naturally all the skating gear you could possibly need is provided-- even including some sparkly outfits if you want to put on a real performance. Or just-- if you like standing out when you do things.

Chemistry Laboratory - And over here we have chemicals! Lots and lots of chemicals. There's samples of elements, books on chemical compounds and all kinds of tools to help you start on your path to becoming the ultimate chemist!

Astronomy Studies - At last you can study the stars from close up. There are star charts, telescopes and books on the sky galorein this room. There's also a dimmer-- it's easier to study the sky from a relaxed, dark atmosphere.
After the fifth exam-- there's only one thing you gain access to.

The Roof - The only new addition to the main building now is that you can access the roof. There is a gate around the perimeter. You would have to climb it to reach the edge. Safety first. It's a nice place to get some air. And it has a nice view. Eat lunch or take a nap... it's nice here.

- DORMITORY BUILDING -

The dormitory is, like the school itself, in blue and silver colors. Upon entering, there is a ground floor lobby. There on the wall you will find your room assignments posted. The rooms in the dormitory are also sound-proof.

Common Room - This large, open space is primarily designed as a lounge; with couches and chairs set up neatly throughout. There is a small kitchenette, but it’s only equipped with the most basic utilities, including a sink, coffee maker and microwave. There is also a small balcony for you to relax on and enjoy some fresh air. But be careful-- the railing isn’t terribly high.

Student Rooms - While they aren't particularly fancy, the rooms here are well-designed and comfortable. Each room is designed for one person. It has a bed and a desk for sleeping and studying-- you know. The essentials. Each room also has an empty mini fridge for students to keep their things in. There's also a closet for all your clothing-type items... and maybe you'll collect a few other things, who knows! The view out the windows really isn’t much, but if you’re lucky you might get a good view of the pool outside. Each dorm room comes with it's own bathroom, but the showers are public.

Rooming assignments are as follows:

1. Shirou Emiya
2. Akira Kurusu
3. Stuart Pot (2-D)
4. Rantaro
5. Osomatsu Matsuno
6. Mike Yagoobian
7. Rebecca Gales
8. Nikolai Gogol
9. Terra
10. Edgar Allen Poe
11. Grantaire
12. Yoosung Kim
13. Viral
14. Monika
15. Max Caulfield
16. Waver Velvet
17. Sheldon J. Plankton
18. Alexander
19. Orga Itsuka
20. Hank Anderson
21. Connor
22. Henry
23. Cecil Palmer
24. Contessa "Tess" Rubikov
25. Maya Fey
26. Ryota Mitarai

Elevator - You can use the elevator to travel between the ground floor and first floor, but those are the only two areas it will allow you to travel to. If you try to push any of the other buttons, nothing will happen-- the buttons won't even light up. If you believe the elevator, there are actually four floors total.

Stairs - Since it's only one flight, you could also take the stairs! But yet again, your ascent stops at the first floor. There is a gate drawn down over the stairwell leading to the second floor, similar to the one you might have seen in the school. And like that one, there's no moving it by force.

Laundry Room - There's three washers and three dryers in here, so you'd all better learn to take turns.  Laundry soap and fabric softeners are provided.

As of the Second Exam, the elevator unlocks and you are allowed to proceed to the third floor. Up there you'll find...

Starbucks - So this is where Han was getting his coffee from! Well now you too have access to all the great varieties of Starbucks coffee whenever you want them! It's a great place to start your day. Don't forget they have a bakery too! Coffee is important but so is breakfast.

Spa - When the world gets you down, sometimes you just need to pamper yourself. Take a mud bath, make use of the massage oils or hot stones... there's also open air baths to help you relax. Because sometimes you deserve it!

Simulation Room - It's a very simple looking room but the cool part is all the things that it can become! Using the panel on the wall you can simulate locations like a forest or the beach-- or you can simulate combat or... something... steamier. If that's more your style. *wink*

School Store - Sometimes you just need somewhere to go to pick up a toothbrush or some shampoo... just your average every day items. Whether it's a new pair of underwear or a school-themed sweater, this store has you covered. It's all school brand though so I hope you like having Fayflower written all over everything.

Common Area - And there's still space for you all to come together and enjoy time together! Maybe you all want to sit and have coffee or just chat. Either way, you can do it on this floor too!

Restrooms - That's right. They're here too.

After the Midterm, you gain access to the fourth floor via the elevator. And what you'll find there...

Arcade - Almost the entire floor here is dedicated to a bright and colorful collecion of games! Dancing games, driving games, fighting games, card games, classic games-- they've got it all! Depending on how well you do, you can also earn tickets!

Prize Exchange - The tickets you've earned can be exchanged here. Everything from dinky little flashlights and plastic rings to large suffed animals. You might have to save up a while though.

- SCHOOL GROUNDS -

Something incredible has happened on this, the seventh week of your semester here.

The field has been transformed to the point where it's no longer recognizeable. It would appear that "somone" has decided that you all should have your very own school festival. It has everything from a miniature haunted house to booths where you can play games-- scoop goldfish, shoot water guns at cute little targets, ring tossing... there's even a dunking booth-- And there's festival foods too! Funnel cake, candy apples, deep fried oreos, taiyaki, takoyaki-- you name it! Other stands have little fireworks and cute festival wear of all kinds to put on so you can enjoy the experience.

There are also cherry blossom trees that have been planted, a feat beyond imagination. Bring a blanket and enjoy them, or watch fireworks.

Have a fun week

Field - The school has a top-notch athletic field, if you need to get your exercise on and you prefer doing it outside in the fresh air. There are tracks for running as well as equipment for various field sports including football and soccer. You could even jump hurdles or throw a javelin. Just watch where you throw those things-- they're terribly sharp.

Basketball and Tennis Courts - For those who hate the idea of just running, these courts are already set up for you to start a game. All the appropriate game tools are right there.

Pool - On the other side of the yard is the outdoor swimming pool. On the shallow end it's only three feet deep. On the deep end however, it gets as deep as six and a half feet. More than deep enough for diving and splashing around.

Storage Shed - There's such a nice pool, but you have no bathing suit. Well never fear. They prepared for that as well. There are plenty of different suits in all colors and styles hanging in storage. There are also floaties, various inflatables and noodles as well as Frisbees, rings and beach balls designed for more fun pool activities.

Changing Rooms - For all your changing needs. Inside, there are lockers for you to keep your things in while you go swimming. But unfortunately they aren’t locked. But surely everyone here is mature enough that there won’t be any clothes swiping incidents.
